Nanobio Delivery Vigorously Sponsors the “2017 First Conference on Biomotors, Virus Assembly, and Nanobiotechnology Applications” and Promotes the Field of RNA Nanotechnology

The 2017 First Conference on Biomotors, Virus Assembly, and Nanobiotechnology Applications was held August 16-19, 2017 at the Fawcett Center near the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, USA. The conference was chaired by Dr. Peixuan Guo - the founder of RNA nanotechnology, endowed chair professor of the Ohio State University, and the chief scientific consultant of Nanobio Delivery; co-chaired by Dr. Ian J. Molineux, Professor of University of Texas at Austin USA, and Dr. Ian Grainge, Associate Professor of The University of Newcastle Australia.

The conference is intended to promote the participation of more bioscientists into the field of Nanobiotechnology, foster collaborations among scientists and promote the development of the whole field of nanotechnology. Around 300 top scientists from different countries have attended this conference, attendees include Dr. Stephen Kowalczykowski, Professor & Member of National Academy of Sciences, University of California at Davis, USA; Dr. Piotr Grodzinski, National Cancer Institute, USA; Dr. Xing-jie Liang, Professor of National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, CAS, China; Dr. Wah Chiu, Professor & Member of National Academy of Sciences, Stanford University, USA; Dr. Anil K. Sood, Professor of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA; Dr. Mauro Ferrari, Professor, President & CEO of Houston Methodist Research Institute, USA, etc.
RNA Nanotechnology as one of the main session of this conference has attracted increasing attention from the broad audiences. Recent progress and updates of this field of RNA nanotechnology for targeted therapy have been reported by Professor Kirill Afonin from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA, Professor Mark Bathe from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, Dr. Fengmei Pi and Dr. Zhengyi Zhao from Nanobio Delivery Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. etc. The scientific community has shown unanimously optimistic towards the future of utilization of RNA nanotech-based drug delivery system as the next generation of targeted therapy and offering perspectives on the promising avenues of research in this fast-growing field.
